いったいかん【一体感】

a sense [feeling] of unity [solidarity, oneness, togetherness]; 〔帰属意識〕 a sense of belonging.

●外部[外国から]の脅威によって民族としての一体感が強まった. Their feelings of national unity [solidarity] were strengthened by the external threat.

・この苦しい山行を通してわれわれの間にある種の一体感が生まれた. A special bond [sense of camaraderie] developed between us, as a result of the hard journey together through the mountains.

●自然との一体感を感じる feel at one with nature

・私は次第に彼の理想や夢に対して深い一体感を覚えるようになった. I gradually came to identify [sympathize] deeply with his ideals and dreams.
